typing with my eyes semi-closed

Sooooo bored. I can't even online shop anymore. I've seen all the shopping sites I need to see and now I'm done. My eyes are strained (I'm doing this with closed eyes). I'm bored. I'm really bored.

I'm thinking of something witty to say but alas! I'm not that gifted blogger. So what to say here that would keep my interest fixed? All I can think of right now is Alec Baldwin's present predicament. You know, the one with the "rude little pig" voice message. I'm siding with him with this one and not because I like the actor but because, come on! That's child abuse already?!?!?! Isn't it weird how Americans raise their kids? They call that child abuse and something like having a very bad effect on the child that she will carry on her life yadi yadi yada. They won't even begin to imagine how we raise kids here much less discipline them. Talk about being uber sensitive.

I hate seeing personal blogs in multiply. I do multiply to shop, look around for things worth buying. That's why squint every time I come across personal blogs in the update page. What by all that's holy do I care about your point of view on love or your personal message to your ex? I don't give a damn where you took off for your vacation nor do I need to see you and your camera hungry face in your bikini. I don't care about your expensive purchases from your European tour nor do I care about the number of havaianas you have in your flip flops collection. Much less do I want to trouble myself if you have slapped yourself with Shu Uemura on your right cheek and Shiseido on your left today. Please people! Make your personal pages private. Let only those who give a farthing view your pictures and read your blogs. Do not let it viewable by everyone. Not even your business contacts. Business contacts are your contacts for one purpose only: to transact business with you. Do not let us see your deepest, most intimate self. It's sick. You're sick. You're not that important, I assure you. And of course, I'm referring to everyone who does that not only in multiply but also in friendster. So smile, people. Remember: you are not important to everyone. You're just a nobody trying her damnest to get noticed.

And my eyes are getting heavy...

So that was drafted last Tuesday before I drifted off to sleep.

And this is for today...

money, money, money

My resolution: Buy semi-expensive shoes. Do not buy cheap ones anymore. I just did last Wednesday. I got 2 pairs of pointed patent semi-flats (1 yellow, 1 pink) both for P500 in St. Francis Square. They don't have the size I was comfortable with so I settled for one size smaller. And boy did they hurt my feet! I wore the yellow ones yesterday and since I am a fashion victim that sacrifices comfort for fashion, I still wore the pink ones today thinking it would grow on me. And guess what? The right one kinda did but only because it was broken. I thought the patent expanded. That's what I get for being so cheap. Silly.

And I have money problems. Nopes, I don't have creditors running behind me. I just predict that I would be needing big bucks for the next few months and that is because I would be paying my investment and savings. Max would also have his birthday this coming month and he will be enrolled in my alma mater (which has really expensive tuition). And I will be attending a wedding where I would be a bridesmaid so I need to pay P500 for my gown, buy shoes and buy gift. I would also need to renew my passport and get Max his own. I already postponed our Spanish class. I would be needing the extra money. I need to pay my dad for my RCT. I already paid him almost half. And I need another RCT for another tooth. And pasta the others so that they won't end up like the other two which would mean more money to fix it. And I'm getting crazy just thinking how would I be able to afford them all. Life. Sucks. As. An. Adult.

I guess I could look for something to sell in my closet later. But I don't have anything really worth buying. And I'm a packrat. Can't help it. I might find them useful one day.

Maybe I would win a lottery of some kind later. Or a rich long distance relation suddenly died and decided to will his millions to me. Or I would chance upon a folded bill on the ground later. And the folded bill is actually folded 1k bills in the sum of 20k. And the whole world would be happy with my gain.

It was called Diamond Mine

I don't know why they changed it to Bejeweled or if they came from the same creator but they definitely are the same. And it never fails to take my mind temporarily off the issue at hand. When I wanted to just disappear from the world, Diamond Mine is one of my few concerns. Would I be able to play this game when everyone and everything went away? Would I still have this small pleasure of forgetting for a moment whatever it is that is bothering me by playing and topping this game? Would I still be able to afford the electricity that powers my game? It is what surprised me the most because at that time I window shopping and trying to look at least presentable. I had no vanity that time. So looking back, imagine my surprise that I cared about something so trivial when I was about to discard everything I had. And that, people, is what you called dedication to the game. Or stupidity.
