the love story that made my years
I'm gonnawrite this with little lesser of drama than I'm capable of. I'll try not to sound so horrifically engrossed. I remember writing (and talking and drooling and daydreaming) about this when I was in high school. Everybody who knew me then would always associate me with it. That was my post-pig collecting period and pre-butterfly adoration era. That was the time when I think Lois&Clark, not just Superman, was the greatest tv show on earth.
And I watched Superman yesternight.
I didn't expect to be taken with the love story. I already had my share of love dreaming in my adolescent days so I didn't expect anything at all. Apparently, I'm still not through with my share yet.
I still feel excitement everything I see the Daily Planet's really unruly office. I remember loving the love story, wanting it. I wasn't after the lead male character, I was after the romance he creates with the Lois. I want him as Clark loving Lois. I love the times that Lois and Superman shares this special eye contact in the crowd full of unsuspecting people. Well... those were the days.
So there. I've said it. I've put it in print again. I'm still a hopeless romantic. I listen to love songs a lot, read romance novels, love watching love stories especially the classic ones. And I find Superman's love story truly captivating. I use the word love a lot in this post coz there's no other substitute for it. Yup, I'm all that and probably even more pathetic. But I still don't get myself to read people's blog about their views on love. That is waaaayyyy too much even for me. I'm just not interested in other people's love life. Which brings me to my next topic...
the phase i didn't went through
I should ask for forgiveness for this for I'm surrounded with people who actually engage in these activities. I do not want to offend people especially friends but I just got to say this here. I came from a high school where the students all wear skirts and love there was always sought after but never really within our grasps. It was something everyone wanted to have (almost as desperately) but not all will admit of wanting. Not much difference from where I stand now. But there's still something distinctly high schoolish about it all. We still played coy.
................................ to be continued when I have the chance and the inspiration to do so.
